Get your green on at the Greener Gadgets Conference 2009
On February 27, 2009 the Greener Gadgets Conference will be held at McGraw-Hill Conference Center in New York, NY.
The main focuses of the conference include:
- Emerging energy technology
- Real solutions for e-waste recycling
- New inventions in energy generation and efficiency
- Future forward recyclable gadgetry
- The business case for going green
So far main speakers that are schedule to attend the conference are inventor Saul Griffith, Mary Lou Jepsen of One Laptop Per Child, and leaders from HP, BusinessWeek, Nokia, Climate Savers and Engadget.
The conference will also feature a competition for that will award outstanding design innovations for green electronics. Past winners include The EnerJar DIY Energy Meter Kit, The Gravity Based Kinetic Energy Lamp, and the Green Cell Universal Battery that can be sold in vending machines.
